The Solar Whiz SW-AU-R-28 are Australian-made and designed solar roof ventilators. They are made to perform in the unique Aussie climate and conditions. What is the Solar Whiz SW-AU-R-28?
The SW-AU-R-28 is the mid-level residential ventilator in our product range. It moves up to 1700m³/h, equivalent to around 17 conventional whirlybirds. The SW-AU-R-28 is perfect for roof ventilation and heat extraction in homes or spaces up to 180 square metres.
Solar Whiz is runs on solar energy, meaning that it doesn’t have any operating costs or emissions. It helps you to keep cool without increasing your energy use and costs!
There are additional add-ons and accessories that can be included in the installation if you choose. Fixed or adjustable thermostats can be used to give extra control over when the unit operates, and night operations kits can be used to back the system up with mains power. Doing this lets the system run at full capacity in overcast conditions (only drawing on the energy it needs) and it can be operated overnight.
The SW-AU-R-28 comes with
